Joseph Stannard
Joseph Stannard designs furniture, lighting, and decorative objects. Strongly influenced by his knowledge of traditional design, Stannard respectfully infuses the classic with a contemporary sensibility that gains expression through his use of bronze, iron, stone, and specialty woods. Stannard's work has earned praise for the "energetic elegance" he achieves by combining these materials in unexpected ways. Joseph lives in Norfolk where he founded Joseph Stannard Antiques & Design in 1990. His studio is in New Marlborough, MA.
